Health Coaching To Assist You in Achieving Your Wellness Goals"



I maintain my well-being by regularly incorporating walks and hikes into my routine. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of completing a hike through the York Regional Forest – Hollidge Tract. Being outside in the sun and fresh air, while connecting with others who share my passion for well-being, is crucial for my mental, physical, and emotional health.
Two takeaways from yesterday's hike:
*The “Iron Tree”**: It ranks among the most ecologically and economically important plant species. Ironwood functions as a “nurse plant” and is known for its ability to filter out harmful toxins, which contributes to a healthier living or working environment. It is also one of the hardest and densest woods found in North America.
* This made me wonder: Are we aware of the environmental toxins around us? If so, how do we filter or manage them?
*Reforestation**: Seeing the "Reforestation" sign sparked curiosity and questions for me.
* I began to wonder, are there possessions, processes, or habits in my life that may require being “replanted”—changed or modified? Would doing so benefit me and safeguard me from the things in my life that no longer serve me? Are there new concepts or beliefs to plant so that I may continue to flourish?
We each have unique needs and goals, and, for me, hiking fulfills these. It gives me a sense of vitality, which enables me to excel as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, allowing me to show up authentically.
