I wanted to share a beneficial maneuver that creates space between the shoulder and hip on one side of the body. This allows for better movement of the kidneys, lungs, and posterior diaphragm.


This "Pullover" technique is essential for anyone who sits for long periods of time, as sitting compresses the fascia through the back of the legs and into the thoracic back.

 

The Benefits of the Pullover Fascia Maneuver :

Decompresses the large intestine

Stimulates bowel movements

Reduces low back pain

Expands posterior lung capacity

Stimulates kidney function

Improves internal range of rotation for the hips and pelvic floor
