The Nature

Hummingbirds are the only birds capable of flying in all directions: up, down, sideways, forwards, and backwards. Despite weighing less than a nickel on average, some travel over 2,000 miles twice a year during migration. As the smallest migrating birds, they represent the courage and joy required to embark on an epic journey.

The Calling

The hummingbird is linked to the sixth chakra, or the "third eye," which serves as the center of our relationship to everyone and everything. When we feel a lack of time, money, or knowledge to pursue our desires, we can call on the energy of the hummingbird for guidance. This bird never loses its direction or drive, trusting it has enough sustenance because it prioritizes joy and maintains personal boundaries.

From the perceptual state of the soul, the hummingbird communicates through imagery, music, poetry, and dreams. We are all on a grand voyage, and the hummingbird reminds us that the significance lies in the journey itself rather than the destination.

The Invitation

To create a desirable future, you are invited to visualize your path from the perspective of the hummingbird. Take this time to rest and replenish.

Happiness follows when we honor the soul. Remember that your purpose is to experience joy on this journey.

Mantra for the Week

Happiness follows me when I honor my soul. I remember that my purpose is to experience joy on this journey.
