The Nature of the

"Lasya of Parvati," a beautiful dance form embodying grace, beauty, and gentleness, famously performed by the Hindu goddess Parvati. The term "Lasya" itself signifies beauty, grace, and happiness, and the dance expresses these positive emotions through delicate and harmonious movements

The Calling

This concept resonates deeply as a reminder that we often have a choice to approach life's challenges with a gentler, more graceful perspective, which can often lead to even greater positive outcomes. By grounding ourselves in beauty, pleasure, and grace, we can

soothe the often-frenzied workings of the mind. This approach suggests that inner spiritual strength and feminine gentleness can overcome and heal violence and its negative effects, paving the way for future happiness.

The Opportunity to Experience the Grace of Lasya of Parvati

To help embrace this gentle approach; I am inviting you to engage with this simple breathing practice that can be very beneficial:

1. Find a comfortable position: Sit with an upright and connected spine.

2. Focus on your breath: With eyes open or closed, consciously connect with your breath to become fully present.

3. Inhale to disconnect: As you breathe in, let your awareness disconnect from external distractions.

4. Exhale to settle: As you exhale, allow your awareness to settle deeper within yourself.

5. Visualize and feel: Continue to breathe while feeling or visualizing beauty, grace, and happiness permeating your body, mind, and soul.
