Khadijah is often referred to as the "Mother of the Believers." As a wealthy merchant, her life reflects a story of female empowerment; she successfully led a major business in a male-dominated society, using her wealth to feed the poor, provide for her children, and care for her extended family.

In the spiritual world, there is often a narrative suggesting that spirituality requires that we give without receiving fair monetary rewards for our offerings. However, a healthy and grateful relationship with the material world is important for reaching our spiritual potential.

Khadijah represents the importance of understanding that we can provide for ourselves. This acceptance provides a solid foundation and confidence required to create relationships built on interdependence rather than co-dependence.

Living in our true power and purpose does not make us less eligible for grace. Khadijah teaches us that we are worthy of abundance, whether it is measured in gold or in the depth of love.

Reflection for the Full Moon:

"I have a solid foundation and the confidence that provides

opportunities in both the Spiritual and material world."
